About Us!
Our Mission
Growing in Christ together, serving our neighbors, and equipping every generation to walk in freedom through Christ.
Psalm 78:4
We will not hide them from their descendants; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the LORD, his power, and the wonders he has done.

The Alter began in June 2021 serving young people in Caldwell County. In August 2026, our focus expanded to the entire community when we began adult services. Our Jubilee Service welcomes every generation on Sundays at 10:00 AM at Golden Ticket Cinema, 1966 Morganton Blvd, Lenoir, NC. Together we worship, grow in Christ, serve our neighbors, and carry the ministry of reconciliation into everyday life. Visit Alter Youth for youth service and participation details.
